Welcome to the Canterbury Chapel, northeast Ohio's most elegant Turn-of-the-Century Wedding Chapel. Built in 1927 as a church the Canterbury Chapel now is used exclusively as an intimate, upscale alternative for smaller weddings with a maximum seating capacity of 40 guests. All denominations are welcome and you may use your own official or we can provide one for you. We also feature in-house digital photography from the Schoeppner Studio. Our chapel is fully decorated featuring traditional wedding items such as decorated pew seating, unity candle and guest book stand. It is further complimented with antique stained glass, antique lamps and lighting and a huge, turn-of-the-century mahogany fireplace salvaged from a Cleveland mansion. The Canterbury Chapel is conveniently located in quiet North Canton, Ohio, off I-77 near the Akron/Canton Airport.
